Sports Injuries




This is a table which gives information about sports injuries. There are 10 different sports; the Australian football is exposed to more serious injuries.

The highest number of sports injuries is Australian football, it has 10,122 injuries. The percentage of total sports injuries is 24.5% and those who are admitted to hospital is about 7.5%. The second highest sport injuries is soccer and has a 9.2 percentage and some of them are admitted to hospital at 7.1%. The sport that has the average percentage of the injuries is cricket, basketball, netball and hockey. They have 8.3%, 7.8% and 3.0% for percentage of sports injuries. Surprisingly enough, martial arts is at 8th place in the list, with 882 as a number of injuries at around 2.1% and 5.6% hospital admissions, and hockey at 7th, which is less than expected.

In conclusion, the two main sports that show up more than once on this table as highest are Australian, because it has highest number of injuries, and rugby because it has the highest percentage of hospital admissions.

The area of the UAE




The pie graph shows four regions in the UAE by square kilometer. Overall, the total area is 77,700 sq\cm with all Emirates.

First, Abu Dhabi is the largest of the UAE parts and covers around 67,000 square kilometers which is over half the total land area. Second in size is Dubai, which encompasses 5 percent of the country. Third in size is Sharjah, which encompasses 3.3 percent of the country. The other two parts, Ras Al khaimah and Fujairah are smaller than both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. They have areas of 1,689 square kilometers and 1,165 square kilometers respectively. Together they make up only 3.7 percent of the UAE. The last two parts are Umm Al Quain and Ajman is much smaller than either Emirates.

In summary, Abu Dhabi is the largest region in the UAE and the remaining are significantly smaller than Abu Dhabi.

Fast food in the UAE




In the past people used to eat good food like camel meat and fish, but now people are not eating at same as in the past. People now eat different foods like fast food such as Mc Donald’s, KFC and Burger King. This is a complex problem and this change has had many causes and effects.

There are many reasons for why almost all people in the UAE eat fast food everyday. One of these is lifestyle. Many people in the UAE work all day long and they do not have time to go back home to eat there. At the same time some women work and do not cook in the home for her husband. Another reason is money. Many young people in the UAE if they have money do not take care of themselves and they go to the restaurant and eat spicy fast food. Yet another reason is the modern life. Now, some people want try new foods, these things come from advertising and this is a major reason for increased fast food consumption.

Fast food also has many effects. One of the most important is on health. When everyone eats fast food everyday it will cause disease and obesity. Another serious effect is that diabetes and then high blood pressure is increasing. Yet another serious effect is on the family. Everyone does not eat with his family, and be feels uncomfortable. The last serious effect is the economy. The young people in the UAE should not waste money on fast food.

In conclusion, fast food is quick and tasty, but in the same time has bad effects. In the future people should choose carefully what they eat as the best food. 

Reasons for Choosing University




The chart shows 11 reasons why first year student from overseas chose a particular university. The survey of 1000 first year overseas students was carried out at universities in the UK. The top three reasons are language of tuition, quality of teachers, and up-to-date teaching facilities.
According to the graph, the main reason is the language of tuition. At 95%of the sample, it was quality of teachers, at 90%, followed by facilities, also at 90%.
Non-teaching factors were also important. Tuition costs were quoted as a reason by 75%, and location was mentioned by 70% of students. The cost of accommodation is also an important factor for 80% of respondents. Almost two-thirds of students said that the friendliness of university was important.
In conclusion the various factors can be divided into two groups, namely those related to teaching and non-teaching related. However, the most important are the language and the teachers.

Obesity in the UAE



Obesity in the UAE affects people about the ages of not less than 14 years and not more than 27 years. It's not healthy that obesity begins at this age. The most affected groups are students from school because most of their time to be inactive and do not invest in themselves. The causes and solutions of obesity are discussed here.

There are many reasons for why some people in the UAE are exposed to obesity. One of these reasons is their lifestyle. Many people in the UAE have money and do not care where they eat, and some of them work, so they do not have time to eat at home and go to restaurants to eat fast food. Another reason why people in the UAE are exposed to obesity is in their diet. Most young people in the UAE eat too much fast food in the restaurant and do not take care of themselves. Yet another reason is the education, most people do not care about what their children is eating. These people must learn how to make their children eat healthy food.

There are several things that can be done to solve these problems. Change your lifestyle, exercise is a nice solution to fix many problems and you can learn to eat a healthy diet. At the end the best solution is to educate people about healthy eating especially young people.

In conclusion most young people must learn how to eat healthy food and exercise to have a happy life. Hopefully, we can solve this problem in the near future.
